GAH Annual Conference - 2026

The annual meeting of the Georgia Association of Historians ​will take place at St. Vincent's Academy in Savannah, GA. 
​January 30-February 1, 2026
2.1 @ 945am: We are at the DeSoto in the Harbor View Room 15th floor. Poster sessions just started for those students who are staying at the hotel. We will be having all events in that room and the hallway. Check your email for further details. 

2.1 @ 6am: Travel Advisory in Effect. Please do not attempt to travel to the DeSoto for the conference this morning.  We are working on solutions for participation and luncheon. Check your email for further details.

  • Exception: If you are attending as a guest of graduate or undergraduate students, we do not require you to register, but we do ask that you consider making a donation to the GAH.
